Unforgettable 1st Christmas

Two exciting events happened on my first Christmas that will definitely make it memorable...to my parents anyways! First, I had my first visit to the Emergency Room on Christmas morning! Here I am below posing with Mom. I had an allergic reaction to the medicine I was on for an ear infection and broke out in hives all over my body. They gave me some medicine, and I was good as new in no time!

The second exciting event happened on Christmas Eve. I took my first steps! Luckily, Gammy, Pappy and all of my aunts and uncles were there to witness it. I love being the center of attention! Check me out below...

Snapshots of Christmas

Unfortunately, these are the only pictures Mom and Dad took of my 1st Christmas. The nerve!!

Chupacabras: Fact or Fiction?

When we went to Christmas for my Pappy's family, we were in for a little surprise. My Great Aunt Linda and Uncle Ray live in San Antonio but have a house and this great little 'party barn' for get-togethers right outside of Cuero. It is decorated in a wild west motif complete with an old saloon-style bar, slot machines, saddles and a stuffed baby Chupacrabra! What?!? Yes, they found this creature on their land when all of the hoopla was swirling around Cuero about Chupacrabras. Cuero even made the national news because of it! I guess this means they really do exist?

Santa Baby

Mom tried and tried and tried, but she just couldn't get me to cooperate for a Santa picture.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Hello internet, Grayson's mom here. This post is primarily for my family members. For the past 13 years, or pretty much since I've moved out of my parent's house, I have never ever decorated for Christmas. I was pretty much known as a scrooge! I didn't see the point when it was just me living by myself. Well, this year is different! Not only did I put up a tree, I decorated just about every room in the house with a hint of Christmas.

Lions, Tigers and Bears Oh My

A few weekends ago before all of the Christmas madness started, Mom, Dad and I made a visit to the Austin Zoo. We saw all sorts of strange creatures. My little eyes didn't know what to make of them all!

More Family Pictures

We took even more family pictures in Cuero a few weekends ago. Here are a few thumbnails of my favorites. Check out the photographer's page at http://www.laurahaleyphotography.com/. Haley is great with kids. She has my stamp of approval!

Family Pictures

Since we missed the Spears/Lowers/Dutton family photo shoot on Halloween weekend, we had to make it up this past weekend while in Houston. As you can see from the photos below, I did really well! I think having Aunt Molly and Cousin Aidan in the background making funny faces helped! The last picture is with the whole crew. Look how many of us there are!

Photo Shoot with Aunt Heather

While we were in Houston for Thanksgiving, we met Heather for lunch. She just got a fancy new camera and took some really cute pictures of me that I couldn't help but post.

My 1st Thanksgiving...in Houston

We spent the later part of Thanksgiving weekend in Houston. This was a real treat for me because I haven't seen Nana, Papaw or any of my cousins in quite a while. I stayed with Cousin Aidan one night and the twins, Avery and Mason, the rest of the time. I was in HEAVEN!! I have never seen and played with so many toys in my life!

This is Rody, one of the many toys I got to play with.

Here we are with Papaw. Cousin Avery was very attentive to me. She fed me my bottles, pushed me in my stroller and asked for me every morning when she woke up.

Let's not forget about Avery!
