Sweet Berry Farms

Way back in April, Mom, Dad and I made a trip to Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls.  We usually go to their Pumpkin Patch every October and have so much fun so thought we would check out the Strawberry Patch as well.  It did not disappoint.  As a first timer, Mom and Dad didn't even have to tell me what to do.  I started picking (and eating) strawberries without any direction at all.  I just couldn't help myself they were so juicy and delicious!

Mom made a strawberry pie when we got home with our delicious pickins' from the day.

Perhaps my favorite part of the day was the choo choo train (of course!).  I rode it 3 times in a row!  Not quite sure how Mom and I fit in there together considering she was 7 months pregnant!

Hadley's Birthday Party

In case I haven't mentioned this before, I LOVE me some birthday parties!  In fact, I still talk about my 2nd birthday at the park with the choo choo train and cupcakes every chance I get.  It sure does make Mom feel good because she spent so much time and effort planning it.  Anywho, I digress.  Several weeks ago we went to a swim school for Hadley's birthday party.  Mom and Dad didn't know how I would react to the pool since I wasn't a big fan of them last year.  Well, as you can see from the pics below, I loved it!  Thanks for inviting me Hadley!

There's the birthday girl!

My favorite: cupcakes!  How did they know?!?  I think Shelby and I were the youngest pair at the party.  It didn't matter to us, we still had a blast.

Miscellaneous Grayson Pics

Mom has dropped the ball on updating the blog lately so below are a few snapshots of some of my most memorable moments from the past couple of months.

While Mom and Dad were busy at the hospital with my new baby brother, Gammy and Pappy took me to eat at Chili's where we all shared one of Mom's favorite desserts in her honor, Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie.  It sure was delish!

Here I am at a play date at the park with Caroline and Connor Kubesh and Madi Fox (not sure where Meredith wandered off to for this photo op?).  Mom can't believe she got us all actually looking at the camera at the same time.

This is a picture of the way my Pappy likes to walk the dogs.  Makes sense for Macy and Scout who like to run...and run...and run some more.  However, not so much for tiny little Sadie.  I call that just pure laziness Pappy!

Here I am going in for a big bear hug to my BFF, Ellie.  Is it just me or does she show no signs of reciprocating?!?

Not sure if Mom has posted a picture of my newest cousin yet?  If not, I would like to introduce you to Rylan.  If you can't tell, he has a full head of adorable red hair.

When I go over to Mimi and Moomo's house to visit, this is my favorite thing to do: sit on Unkie Moomo's riding lawn mower in the sweltering hot garage.  Can you say good times for Mom and Dad?

I'm all dressed for school Mom!

Check out my Woody and Buzz backpack from Nana.

Summertime fun in the sun!

Welcome to the World Baby Holden!

We welcomed my baby brother, Holden Lewis Spears, into the world on June 28, 2012.  He was born at 10:38 am and weighed 7 lbs 3 oz.  Mommy and Holden handled the c-section like champs.  Many people came to see him on his special day.

Fresh out of the oven!

Everybody texting pictures after Holden's grand appearance in the nursery.

You may be wondering why on earth Papaw has a football and football jersey on at the hospital?  This was a gift from us over Christmas and also our way of breaking the news to them that I was going to be a big brother.  The "11" on the jersey signifies Holden as being their 11th grandchild, enough to make a football team.  Clever, no?

Sweet baby...

Nana, Papaw, Aunt Dina, Mason and Avery admiring Holden from afar.

Gammy was just as sleep deprived as Mom and Dad for those first few days.
What a good Gammy she is!

Let's not forget about the Wenk girls!
They were especially excited at their visit to see Holden, even baby Shelby.

We celebrated Holden's special day by having a "birth" party, complete with presents, party hats and cupcakes.  Mom and Dad knew this would be a good way to introduce me for the first time to my baby brother since I just love a good birthday party!  I even got a few gifts of my very own :)  Happy "Birth" Day Little Brother!

Brotherly love...

A slight moment when I decided to revert back to babyhood.

Daddy says Holden inherited Mom's long toes.  I think he's right!
