Cranky Dragon

I was not a fan of my Halloween costume this year...

Mom was on top of things this year and bought it back in early September. I wanted no part of trying it on. However, she successfully persuaded (aka bribed) me on Halloween night to finally put it on. As you can see from the photo below, it was not a fun process for either of us. The only way I would put the head piece on is if I had my favorite cap underneath it.

When we finally started out down the street on our quest for candy, Mom and Dad noticed that a lot of the fellow parents had alcoholic beverages in tow. By the end of the night, it was obvious why. It was complete madness! Next year we will be prepared ;)

School Pics

Below are my recent pictures from school. Don't let my big smile fool you. I did not start off as a happy camper. Actually, I was throwing a fit until my beloved teacher, Ms. Danielle, came in to save the day by making funny faces at me. Thank goodness for Ms. Danielle! Mom is amazed that school photo backgrounds haven't improved any since she was a kid ;)

Stay tuned...Halloween photos coming soon!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

Mom, Dad and I made our annual trip to Sweet Berry Farms, located near Marble Falls. Since I wasn't even walking yet at this time last year, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I did this year. I got to navigate through a corn maze, feed goats and horses, pick a bouquet from a beautiful field of flowers, run and shout through a tunnel and much, much more!

Dad's Birthday & More

Dad had birthday a few weeks back. To celebrate his slow demise into his upper thirties, Mom and I threw him a party complete with cake, candles, party hats, balloons and presents. Happy Birthday Dad!

Below are a few unrelated photos. I thought I was so darn cute, I just had to post them ;)
My new favorite thing is to point out the pumpkins and scarecrow on our front porch. Literally, every time we walk by them, I have to point and say what they are. Below that is me posing on my crab sand box and having breakfast with Coltrane (my stuffed dog).

Sadie's New Toy

Sadie has a newfound fondess for MY football. We've never seen her so excited by a toy. A few pics below to illustrate...

Turkeyfest 2011

This was my second year to go to Turkeyfest. I enjoyed the parade even more this year than last. Some of my favorite moments from the parade included the older fire trucks and the marching bands. Gammy and Pappy couldn't believe how fascinated I was by it all. Mere and Madi joined us too. It was good to see those crazy gals!

4th of July-Cuero Style

I promise this will be the last post from the summer ;) For the fourth of July, we went to Cuero and spent time with the Fox's, Brewer's and Frels'.

One of my favorite things to do in Cuero (besides riding in the golf cart of course) is to push my toys around Gammy and Pappy's ginormous yard.

Still pushing...

Pondering the mysteries of life in my pool...

Who is this bathing beauty?!?

What did I do???

Rockport Trip

Back in July Aunt Betty and Uncle David invited the family to their beach house in Rockport. I had a great time! Since I'm the only kid (until November anyways when Baby Rylan arrives), I get ALL of the attention. I've really learned how to put on a show!

Romy and Buck waiting anxiously for me to drop a morsel of food for them.

Doing 'the hulk' for Uncle David.

I had my very own pool that I played in while watching all the boats go by in the channel.

High-five Aunt Jojo!

Playing some more in my pool.

Putting on one of my entertaining 'shows' for the Aunts and Uncles.

Move out of my way Buck!

I was a little unsure of the beach at first...

but quickly adjusted. I didn't want to leave!

Mom and I at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus. We saw dolphins, bald eagles, turtles and sharks!

I had a strange fascination with this fella. I stood enamored with him for at least 15 minutes until Mom and Dad finally forced me to leave.
